Neden mi?

Çünkü şimşir, tik ağacı ve ceviz ağacı dışında başka malzemeden yapılmış olan tahta kaşıklar yapıları gereği deterjanları içlerine çekiyorlar. Ve çekmiş oldukları bu deterjanı yemek yapımı sırasında yemeklerimizin içine bırakabilirler!

Bu nedenlerden dolayı tahta kaşık kullanımından vazgeçmeniz gerekiyor mu? Bence hayır.. Çünkü tahta kaşık temizleme deterjansız pekala mümkün…

Nasıl mı?

İster sirke ile tahta kaşık temizleme işlemi yapın, ister karbonat ile tahta kaşık temizleme işlemi yapın… Hangisi kolayınıza gelirse ama lütfen asla deterjan sürmeyin ve bulaşık makinesine atmayın..

Detaylı tarif etmek gerekirse eğer;

Tahta kaşık temizliği için gerekli olan malzemeler;

  • Beyaz sirke
  • Karbonat
  • Limon / Tuz

Nasıl yapılır?

  1. Bir tencereye 1 su bardağı sirke, 2 su bardağı su koyun.
  2. Tahta kaşıkların özellikle kullandığınız kısımları suyun altında kalacak şekilde tencereye yerleştirin.
  3. 1 çay bardağı karbonat ve ister limon suyu isterseniz de tuz ekleyerek kaynatmaya başlayın (tahta kaşık temizliği için sadece sirkeli su da yeterli olur ama olmuşken tam olsun derseniz bunları da mutlaka eklemelisiniz).
  4. 20-25 dakika kadar kaynatmanız yeterli olacaktır.
  5. Sonrasında bol su ile durulayıp kuruması için hava ile temas edebileceği bir yere bırakın.

Tahta kaşık kullanırken unutulmaması gereken önemli noktalar;

  • Tahta kaşıkların temizliği sonrası ıslanan tahta kaşıklar kaşıklığa konulmadan önce mutlaka kurutulmalıdır. Günlük kullanım sonrası da bu konuda gereken hassasiyeti göstermeniz tahta kaşıklarınızın hem ömrünü uzatacak hem de çok daha sağlıklı yemekler yapmanızı sağlayacaktır.
  • Tahta kaşıklar yemek pişirme sırasında tencerede bırakılmamalıdır. Özellikle de süt kaynatırken tahta kaşığınızı lütfen tencerede bırakmayın.

İki haftada bir bu işlemin tekrar edilmesi mutfakta sıklıkla kullanmakta olduğumuz tahta kaşıkların temizliği için yeterli olacaktır.. Eğer bu işlemi bu kadar sık yapamam derseniz; size iki önerim olacak.

  1. Karbonat ile tahta kaşık temizliği yapın; tahta kaşıkları her kullanım sonrası karbonat dökülmüş sünger ile yıkayın.
    Bu işlemi kolaylaştırmanın yolu ise karbonatı bir tuzluğa koyun ve tuzluğu tezgahınızda bir yere koyarak hep elinizin altında olmasını sağlayın.
  2. Alternatif ürünler kullanın; çizilen tencereleriniz haricinde diğer tüm tencere yemeklerinizde metal kaşık kullanın.

Ufak bir hatırlatma daha;
Ekolojik deterjan kullanıyor olsanız dahi tahta kaşık temizliği için kaşıklarınızı bulaşık makinesine atmayın çünkü bulaşık makinelerinde ki yüksek ısı ve kurutma tahta kaşıklarınızın çabuk deforme olmasına sebep olacaktır.
